I’m Tijana Koprivica, and I welcome you to my journey through the dynamic world of tennis. My love for the sport has led me through a remarkable journey that spans continents and decades.
It all began when I represented my home country of Serbia on the National Tennis Team and played at numerous WTA tournaments.
During my professional career, I had the privilege of sharing the court with renowned WTA players like Victoria Azarenka, Monica Niculescu, Ekaterina Bychkova, Ana Ivanovic, and more. I also grew up practicing with Novak Djokovic and watching him win his very first tournaments! This experience laid the foundation for my passion and expertise in tennis.
Upon receiving an athletic scholarship at University of Minnesota, I played collegiate tennis in the Big Ten Conference.
As a key player for the university, I achieved significant milestones, including competing at the number one singles and doubles positions and attaining a national ranking.
My college career concluded with an impressive 92 wins, ranking 4th in school history for Career Singles Victories and 10th for Career Doubles Victories. Notably, I served as the University of Minnesota tennis team captain, an experience that added depth to my love for the sport
After graduation, I immersed myself in the world of tennis coaching and instruction at prestigious country clubs in Westchester, NY.
I’ve honed my skills, organized events, and initiated clinics for players of all ages. It’s here that I found my true calling as a tennis professional and coach, nurturing the next generation of tennis enthusiasts.
Through my journey, I’ve gathered a wealth of knowledge, an unwavering dedication to the sport, and a commitment to nurturing the talent of the next generation.
